High School Senior Pictures in St. Louis

Taking High School Senior pictures is an important occassion. Senior Portraits are one of the big "portrait events" in anyone's lifetime. Selecting the right portrait studio can make or break your Senior Portrait experience.

While some high schools will require that their seniors have their yearbook photo taken at the school's contracted photographer, other high schools will accept photos from any studio for the yearbook. You should check with your school's yearbook department to find out their specific requirements.

Regardless of your school's yearbook photo rules, today's High School Seniors can have their "true" Senior Pictures taken wherever they choose. Your "true" Senior Pictures are the photos you want to give to your family and friends.

Here is what you should expect (and demand) from your "true" Senior Portraits and your photo session:

Flattering poses and lighting
Unique posing (not a cookie-cutter session)
Individual attention from a skilled photographer

When a portrait studio has large school contracts, the studio assumes they will be photographing hundreds, if not thousands of Seniors within a 3 to 4 month time period. That's why many Seniors report an "assembly-line", rushed atmosphere when they visit their school's portrait studio for their session. Long waits are common. Longer waits for proofs and the finished portraits are even more common.

The Studio™ at 1900 McCausland Ave, in the Maplewood/Richmond Heights area takes a different approach. Very different.

Although The Studio™ photographs many High School Seniors each year, we do not have formal contracts with any particular high school. That means we don't take any of our clients for granted. Although each Senior Session at The Studio™ is an indivualized experience, this is what our Seniors have come to expect from us:

First, The Studio™ offers professional hairstyling amd makeup prior to the photo session. (This is included in the $30 session fee.) In other words, we make you look great before your photo session, and we're here to give you touch-ups throughout the session, if you need it.

Next, at The Studio™, you will be photographed by your own personal highly skilled photographer. We find out from you exactly what you are looking for...and we give you that in your portraits. You won't be forced through a session that is just like everyone else's session. Your portraits will be unique to you.

Finally, you will get to see the results of your photo session immediately after the session. That's right! No more wondering how the pictures turned out. You will see the digital images from your session right away. And if you didn't get what you were looking for, we'll take you right back into the studio and make sure that you do.

Portrait selection is different at The Studio™, too. While you are viewing your digital images, you actually make your selections, place your order and pay for your portraits...the same day as your session. Because of our ordering system, your finished portraits will be ready in about 2 weeks...not 4 to 6 weeks, as is standard wait time at other studios.

And speaking of ordering portraits...you'll find that part of your experience at The Studio™ to be painless and pressure-free. Individual portrait sheets are $40. You can order individual sheets, order from our pre-set Senior Packages, or let us help you customize a package, using our volume discounts. We have options available for all budgets. And you'll receive the same great service and attention from us whether you order one $40 sheet or a hundred of them. Our customers are all very important to us.

Check out our High School Senior gallery on our website for a sampling of the work we do. You may see some of your friends' pictures in our gallery. And feel free to call or email us with any questions you may have regarding a session with us.

Our clients have told us that in St. Louis, The Studio™ is the place to go for High School Senior Pictures that are flattering and unique...and still won't break the bank. Why not find out what The Studio™ can do for you?
